Join us on the February 17 & 18, 2024 Family Day long weekend in an Art & Yoga Retreat and embark on a holistic journey of self-discovery, creative expression, and spiritual renewal. Uncover the magic that lies within as you connect with like-minded souls in a supportive and nurturing environment, surrounded by the beauty of nature. This retreat is an invitation to embrace your true essence and dance to the rhythm of your soul.

Over the weekend we will open up sacred space to journey to birth an archetype who is calling to be reclaimed and who is willing to assist you in your life walk. We will create masks, practice Shamanic Yoga, journey using drums, spend time in nature, write with expression, play, perform & dance.

Weekend Schedule

Saturday, February 17:

  • 9am-11am: Shamanic Yoga & Mantra
    Immerse yourself in the sacred art of shamanic yoga, connecting mind, body, and spirit in a blissful union. The opening ceremony sets the stage for a transformative weekend. at UAC Hall in Ukee

  • 11am-12pm: Light Brunch included
    Nourishing light fresh foods with tea; please let us know about dietary restrictions

  • 12pm-2pm: Mask Making
    Under the guidance of Anita, unleash your creativity as you craft your own unique mask, a symbolic reflection of your inner world. at Private home

  • 2pm-4pm: Nature Mandala
    Engage in the meditative creation of a nature mandala, connecting with the beauty of the surrounding environment in a harmonious artistic expression.

  • 4pm-6pm: Break

  • 6pm-8pm: Shamanic Journey
    Energy Healing, Restorative Yoga & Sound Bath Embark on a transformative shamanic journey, combining energy healing, restorative yoga, and a soothing sound bath. Allow the healing vibrations to restore balance and rejuvenate your spirit. at UAC Hall

Sunday, February 18:

  • 9am-11am: Shamanic Yoga & Journey
    Begin the day with an invigorating session of shamanic yoga followed by a drum journey into the depths of your inner self to explore your archetype. at UAC Hall

  • 11am-12pm: Light Brunch
    Nourishing light fresh foods with tea; please let us know about dietary restrictions

  • 12pm-2pm: Creation of Mask
    Continue the artistic exploration as you bring your mask to life, infusing it with your unique essence. at private home

  • 2pm-4pm: Song & Talking Circle
    Engage in the power of song and heartfelt conversation within a supportive circle, creating a space for meaningful connection.

  • 4pm-6pm: Break

  • 5pm-7pm: Mask Performance & Potluck
    Showcase your artistic creations in a mask performance, we will feast together while we hold space for the awakening of these archetypes.

  • 7pm-10pm: Dance Temple
    Conclude the weekend with an open invitation to the community for a gathering, an ecstatic dance of movement, rhythm, and unity. A suggested $10 donation from community goers which supports the continued enchantment of our gatherings. at Community Hall

Accommodations

The breathtaking views of spring cove, will ease you into a relaxing vacation.
The Old growth cedar tree surrounded by a spacious deck for you to enjoy. "The Big Tree "
Whether, you like to relax while reading a book, have a family picnic or practice yoga.
This unique energy created by nature will revitalize you.
Big Tree's private condos are situated at the foot of the Wild Pacific trail and light house loop.
The beach and striking sunset views are just across the street.

The space

♡ Bear condo
Was created with the intention of accommodating families.
*The master bedroom conveniently allows enough space for an extra blowup mattress or travel cot/crib.
*The bunk bed, double and single style. Makes the children's vacation fun!
*The dinner table is a large 6 place with extra chairs available if needed. *The kitchen has everything you need for home cooking. The front door is at the grown level which makes everything easier for little kids. There is an extra front deck making it safer and creates more space for kids to play outdoors.
*Flat screen T.V. with Netflix and countless channels and music.
*Private BBQ on your deck with locally made cedar picnic table.
The ♡ Bear condo has amazing views on the old growth cedar tree and spring cove for you to enjoy and relax.

Guest access

The condos are entirely private.
Including 2 private decks overlooking Spring cove.
Private BBQ and picnic table.
Up to 2 parking spaces per condo.
The building includes 4 condos. I reside in one condo with my family. The ancient red cedar is surrounded by a spacious communal deck.
Guests are welcomed to use the deck and explore spring cove's intricate microclimate, turning tides, feeding migrating shore birds and sea creatures hiding under shells and rocks at low tide. Nature at its magnificence.

Other things to note

We live in a wild area and we love it this way.
Please be aware of bears and never leave garbage outside.
Do not feed the bear if you are lucky enough to see one.
Stay far away and enjoy.

Sightings of wolves are common in Sring cove.
Sightings of cougars are rarer.

I have a older dog named Ash. Border collie with blue eyes.
She help to keep this property bear, cougar and wolf free. She protect my children.
She will most likely bark at your car but she is a lovely dog.
She is very friendly and is well behaved.
I am aware and contious that not everyone loves dogs and some are afraid. Please let me know if you are uncomfortable with the dog, it is not a problem at all to keep her inside during your stay.

They are very sweet and loves cuddles.
